Gather the power of women and create a future of free trade. The 2024 Hainan Free Trade Port Women's Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition is jointly organized by the Hainan Women's Federation, the Talent Development Bureau of the Hainan Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China, the Hainan Provincial Department of Tourism, Culture, Radio, Television and Sports, the Hainan Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, the Hainan Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology, the Hainan Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security, the Hainan Provincial Federation of Trade Unions, the Hainan Provincial Committee of the Communist Youth League, and the Hainan Regulatory Bureau of the State Administration of Financial Supervision. It is also co organized by women's federations in various cities and counties. The competition came to an end on September 29th in Haikou.

According to the arrangement of the 2024 Hainan Free Trade Port Women's Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, the final of the competition has been completed from September 27th to 29th. There are a total of 90 participating projects in the innovation group, creative group, handicraft group, homestay group, and out of province group. The competition adopts a 7+5 (7-minute presentation+5-minute debate) roadshow mode and is conducted through offline roadshows. Finally, after confirmation by the on-site judging panel and organizing committee, the list of winners for the finals of this competition is now announced. The innovation group, creative group, handicraft group, homestay group, and out of province group will respectively determine 1 first prize, 2 second prizes, 3-5 third prizes, and 5-10 excellent prizes.

Competition Introduction


The 2024 Hainan Free Trade Port Women's Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition is co-hosted by the Hainan Provincial Women's Federation, in partnership with the Hainan Provincial Party Committee's Talent Development Bureau, Hainan Provincial Department of Tourism, Culture, Radio, Television, and Sports, Hainan Provincial Department of Agriculture, Rural Areas, and Fisheries, Hainan Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology, Hainan Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security, Hainan Provincial Federation of Trade Unions, Hainan Provincial Communist Youth League Committee, Hainan Banking and Insurance Regulatory Bureau, and various other relevant departments. The Women's Federations of various cities and counties also provide coordination.

The theme of the competition is "Gathering Women's Strength, Creating the Future of the Free Trade Port." This year's competition features a service model of "One Competition + One Enhancement Plan + Nine Supporting Services," primarily comprising three major sections: the 2024 Hainan Free Trade Port Women's Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, the Competition Enhancement Plan (the "Accompanying Growth" Women's Entrepreneurship Project Branding Plan), and Nine Supporting Services (including the "Entrepreneurial Sea Maidens" column, "Phoenix Business School" for Women's Entrepreneurship Training, a Women's Entrepreneurship Resource Matching Platform, a Women's Entrepreneurship Mentor Think Tank, Women's Entrepreneurship Achievement Showcases, a Women's Enterprise Capital Empowerment Platform, Technology Commercialization Promotion Activities, Women's Entrepreneurship Research Projects, and Comprehensive Event Promotion Services).

The competition includes intra provincial competitions, inter provincial competitions, and overseas group exhibition activities, offering women comprehensive services in areas such as innovation, entrepreneurship, and employment, including achievement showcases, exchange and learning opportunities, policy support, market connections, talent cultivation, and brand enhancement. These efforts further motivate women across the province to unleash their entrepreneurial passion and play an active role, contributing their strength as women to rural revitalization and the high-quality, high-standard development of Hainan Free Trade Port.

Entry Requirements


(I) Provincial Competition: Eligible participants are enterprises and teams within our province. The primary manager of the participating project must be a woman, the team must consist of at least three members, and a complete business plan for the entrepreneurial project must be provided.

(II) National Invitational Competition: Eligible participants are enterprises and organizations from other provinces (regions or cities). The primary manager of the participating project must be a woman, the team must consist of at least three members, and a complete business plan for the entrepreneurial project must be provided.

(III) Project Fields: Participating projects should fall within the following four sectors: tourism, modern services, high-tech industries, and tropical specialty efficient agriculture. The projects should exhibit strong innovation, growth potential, and investment value.
(IV) Projects that encourage the employment of women or significantly promote women's entrepreneurship, playing a notable role in consolidating and expanding poverty alleviation results in alignment with rural revitalization efforts, are encouraged to participate.

(V) Participating project enterprises and teams must have a good reputation, free from any negative records, and comply with current national laws, regulations, and industrial policies.

(VI) The application materials for the participating projects must be authentic, valid, and legal. The participating teams must guarantee that the ownership or source of their intellectual property is legitimate and lawful. Plagiarism or theft is strictly prohibited. In the event of any intellectual property disputes, the organizers bear no responsibility and will disqualify the project. Any awards already granted will be revoked.

(VII) Projects that have won first prize in previous Women's Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competitions are not eligible to participate. Additionally, enterprises, organizations, and teams associated with these first-prize projects are also ineligible to enter the competition.

Competition Categories


The competition is divided into five categories: Innovation, Creativity, Handicraft, Homestay, and Out-of-Province. Each enterprise, organization, or team may only submit one project and participate in one category.
