Susanna Sun
Painting has been Susanna Sun's lifelong passion, from childhood chalk scribbles as a child, to gouache, Chinese calligraphy, watercolor as a teenager, and oil, acrylic, and professional watercolor as an adult. Growing up and living in many countries and all the hardships have made her passion for painting only grow.
It all started when her father taught her to "turn back the bird with a stroke" when she was five or six years old, and her lifelong passion and experience for painting began. At that time, she would paint the walls and floors of the entire house with the curious "Stroke of the Bird". Later, with the generous support and encouragement of her father and mother, she bought paints and supported her art classes, and from elementary school to high school she was not only the art committee member but also the person who designed all the boards and art newspapers. Three years of full-time training as an art teacher and two years of professional training at Harbin Normal University and Tsinghua Art College in Beijing gave her a good foundation in art skills. From 2007-2010, she spent three years studying intercultural and theological studies in the United States and an internship in Indonesia, where she gained a deeper understanding of different cultures and the Word of God, and in 2012, she studied in Singapore and received a Certificate in Teaching English as a Foreign Language in London, England, with distinction.
