My Homeland and I

Introduction:

First, I drew a sketch of a brain on some black paper. After I was satisfied with the shape, I cut it and began planning where different parts of the brain would be. I then drew with a white gel pen and coloured what some parts of the brain do and control (smell, vision, touch and pressure, taste, reading, etc.) with a colourful gel pen. When I finished the task, I drew objects associated with my memories. After a few days of hard work, I pasted my drawing on white paper and voila! I was done. The drawing of ‘My brain’ represents my homeland and the memories I’ve made. A place where I was born and grew up with my family and friends, A place where I felt safe at all times, a place where I’ve made good and bad memories, a place where I can be myself, and all are captured in my mind – My Homeland. I love my homeland.
