My art piece shows how technology should aid in nation building to build smarter cities for sustainable living. It also shows how nature co-exists with technology and power nations with renewable energy. The boy represents me. I am a young life who wants to contribute to my nation and the young plant signifies how I can start by taking small steps in my community to build a brighter future. The white object on the top left corner is a robot. The robot symbolises the use of artificial intelligence to run my homeland in a smart way. Some of the buildings feature my idea of a futuristic architecture designs to complement the skyscrapers in Singapore. The four flags represent some of the world’s strongest powers. I have placed them side by side to represent world peace. My wish is to see the world powers set an example for all nations by uniting their strengths to help weaker and poorer nations. I have included green pasture and flowers to represent nature and technology blending together. The windmills on the right shows the use of renewable energy to power up nations for sustainable living.
