Freedom to improve

Introduction:

'Freedom to improve' is the name of this drawing, because it shows remarkable elements to people who live in Minas Gerais (Brazil) as me. Initially, I wanted to bring how technology is improving in the place I live, as it is the biggest producer of solar energy from Brazil. It wasn't enough. I had to represent the beauty of the state as well, with our variety of animals (armadillo's meaning), buildings (the church called Santa Teresa e Santa Teresinha) and sympathy and intelligence of the local people (the man on the right, called Santos Dumont, who invented the first model of air plane). The colours work together with this meaning and represents harmony of all the elements together, which is the only way to introduce Minas Gerais properly. The sentence "Libertas Quae Sera Tamen" means " freedom even late" and is a symbol of the struggle for independence in Brazil. That's the relation beetween the drawing and its name.
